| DESIGN NAME: City Heart PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition Hall INSPIRATION: A city exhibition asked the designer to come up with the design. People have been capturing the city's appearance and expression, and using a sharp perspective to observe every bit of the city. But if these can represent a city, it is only due to the eyes. In his opinion, the representation is not the index of the city. Only by changing the way of thinking to index, understand and weigh the balance point of the design, can we find the relationship between the design and the city. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This case is a city exhibition hall in Chongqing, China. The pavilion should be integrated into the characteristics and features of the whole city. The designer hopes that through the design of the entire project presentation to let everyone understand a city. Instead of looking at the city from the perspective of the designer, people can look at things they have never seen before through the eyes of the city. When thinking in reverse, people will be able to see more different urban languages. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: On-site production and coordination of the entire pavilion, soil production is a key part, shape and surface texture treatment is particularly important, which requires repeated communication and coordination of the technical requirements of workers, and ultimately realize the completion of the entire project. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: There are no expensive materials here, most of which return the use of materials to their original state. Therefore, in the use of wall materials, soil is a very important part. The designer hopes to awaken the design practitioners to use and think about the original intention of materials through materials such as clay. The worn-out steel was folded and bent into a specific shape in his hand. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The exhibition hall covers an area of 90 square meters, and expresses a state from scratch through the use of soil and steel. People have built beautiful cities, but they also need to realize that the earth is being destroyed wantonly. As a designer, they need to understand that protecting the earth's environment and limited resources is closely related to everyone. TAGS: Interior, Exhibition Hall, City Heart, Natural, Cultural, Modern, Chongqing, Environmental Protection RESEARCH ABSTRACT: There are two ways to study the history of the city, one that puts you in the center of the city and sees the city's state from the city's perspective. Another way you can feel the impact of heavy steel industry on Chongqing, the history of chongqing's development of steel manufacturing has a pivotal position. The steel is shaped to express the city's passion and pay the highest tribute to its builders. CHALLENGE: Hot pot and fog have always been regarded as symbols of Chongqing. But in this case, the designer gave up the original position and didn't want to have special visual symbols in the exhibition hall. People no longer see the existence of hotpot with their eyes, but present it in the way of experience. Hundreds of small pieces of acrylic shape stack, forming continuous peaks and hazy fog. Design should be the expression of moral, which is the idea of design.
