| DESIGN NAME: Whyte Woolf PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fitness Club INSPIRATION: Most western churches have ceiling frescoes, and this work wants to break through tradition and use anatomy as the subject of murals. Both natural and artificial things can be dissected. break the traditional form while maintaining its spirit. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Church form architecture is already rare in the East, giving the impression that most people are sacred, and the ceiling painted mythological stories, which seems to have formed a fixed mind. This work wants to express how to design a different type of space in a building with a sense of form. Breakthrough became the first theme. Breakthroughs don't mean giving up traditional things, but retaining important parts to change. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Through reading to understand tradition and classics, let the past serve the present. The specific method is that traditional ceiling frescoes are expressed in modern language. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in June 2019 and finish in August 2019 design for three month, and was construction in Dalian. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Terrazzo , Steel plate, Aluminium alloy,Hollow sheet. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 1700 square meter TAGS: Fitness, Break though, Church, Difference, Dissection. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: After observing and studying the interior decoration of similar buildings at home and abroad, choose an easy modern way to solve it. Fully preserved the top of the original building, graffiti part of it. CHALLENGE: How to create completely different visual patterns in a traditional building is the challenge. Obstacles stem from how the public's acceptance is assessed.
