INSPIRATION: The designer draws inspiration from the unique "Bucket Arches" structure of traditional Chinese architecture and presents a harmonious picture of cultural blending in the form of linear arrangement, expressed by the contemporary material of stainless steel. The appearance of the facade integrates the characteristics of the original architectural structure of the site, making the whole project more compatible with the surrounding environment.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The 200-square-meter store is located in a shopping mall near the street. Instead of setting up partitions to divide the area, the interior makes the most of the lighting and spatial structure to create a fashionable, diversified and transparent new tea store. It adheres to the natural and low-key minimalism concept, and creates a zen space with rich texture levels, bringing multi-dimensional sensory experience for customers.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The bucket arch structure of the roof extend upward along the pillars of the space. The block relations overlap, interlace, correspond and connect freely in the space. The pure color and rich block sense add a lively rhythm to the space form. While decorating the atmosphere, they also shoulder the responsibility of architectural culture inheritance, greatly enhancing the brand identification.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in March 2019 in Nantong and finished in June 2019 in Nantong.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: On the processing way of the only metope in whole space, the designer uses clean and neat white strip bricks to decorate, which not only ensures the transparency and brightness of the space, but also increases the simple and pure visual effect.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers a total of 200 square meters. The door head modelling of two entrances all followed the color tone that has futuristic feeling extremely. The metal texture and soft halo can easily attract the eyes of pedestrians.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Shouldering the mission of inheriting Chinese traditional tea culture, Heytea meets Nantong, a famous historical and cultural city. With a common cultural temperament, tea and architecture blend in space. The designer draws inspiration from the unique "Bucket Arches" structure of traditional Chinese architecture and presents a harmonious picture of cultural blending in the form of linear arrangement.
CHALLENGE: The integrated seat area and bar area break the traditional definition of the bar. The designer connected the two functional areas with different attributes, which not only increased the openness and interesting of the space, but also created a lively consumption atmosphere, and implied the link characteristics of the construction of the bucket arch structure.
