DESIGN NAME: Rotass Haute Joallerie Chongqing
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Store
INSPIRATION: The main product of Rotass is customized wedding ring, and it is the love between men and women that makes people produce this kind of consumption. Because the design relies on the brand's long history charm of the original building, therefore, the designer always designs the space around the theme of "love" symbolized by the brand from the two aspects of structure and art.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a two-story commercial street structural shop renovation project. The first floor hall conveys the aesthetic concept of the brand through gypsum sculpture, and the copper steps and mirror roof give the space an upward force. The elevated mezzanine is not only the extension of space, but also the VIP reception space. On the second floor, a large number of church architectural symbols are used to increase the sense of ritual for consumers.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The cutting wall of the corridor on the second floor makes people feel like they are shuttling in diamonds through the turning of space surface. The wall is decorated with wallpaper, which is customized by the manuscript content of the jewelry designer, reflecting the personality of the custom jewelry store.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in December 2018 in Chongqing and finished in May 2019 in Chongqing.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main materials used throughout the project are gypsum board, steel plate mirror, and white steel pipe.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The project covers a total of 280 square meters. The skillfully overhead sandwich area is not only the extension of space, but also the VIP reception space.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: At present, many custom jewelry store design in the market has not jumped out of the traditional way, that is, only in the display of noble jewelry, so in order to set up the benchmark of new commercial form, designers from the artistic aesthetic aspects of improving space to consider, hoping to take into account customers of all ages, and bring them a good experience, promote secondary sales and network promotion.
CHALLENGE: The whole space on the second floor uses a large number of church building symbols, which increases the sense of ritual of consumers. At the same time, it generates associations with the use of wedding rings, so that consumers can feel the meaning and happiness of the wedding rings.
