PRIMARY FUNCTION: Food Packaging
INSPIRATION: Do you know Mother Nature? She is to whom the care of the earth has been given. Enchanted by the stories and myths about Mother Nature, and inspired by the spontaneity of real life moments, the creatives behind this project worked towards the creation of a brand for people with a true zest for life.
After all, the term Mother Nature was first coined here, in Greece. Ancient Greeks were the first to imagine nature personified as a young woman who represents the eternal source of creation.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A contemporary design for a traditional way of doing. Mother Nature unfolds some of her secrets, and the brand, Logothetis Farm in Zakynthos, Greece, offers her unique gifts to all. The farm to table experience met the magic of design and storytelling. That is how a classic and clean identity with a playful twist was created. Cute illustrations and soft pastel colours make this series easily recognizable and memorable. The packaging gives a warm, joyful aura.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The attention to detail in design and storytelling reflected the character of the products, revealing the hard work invested in each one of them, and the consumers appreciated the final packaging.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project began and finished in 2019 in Athens, Greece.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Glass jars, paper boxes and metal tins.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: It goes without saying that the creative approach was designed to minimize processing in packaging and to facilitate recycling. All materials were uniquely sourced and meticulously chosen to enhance the experience and narrative of the stories of the products.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: An extensive research was carried out for the task of creating brand concepts and the subsequent refinement of the final design version. In addition, a thorough market research was conducted in order to frame the market, the competitors and the potential buyers. In addition, mood boards were formed to better express the values and ethos of the company, and to agree on a direction and a design concept.
CHALLENGE: The most difficult creative challenge was to link all meanings in one graphic concept. At the same time, a way to share the values and importance of Zakynthos heritage, while giving the design a modern twist, had to be found.
