DESIGN NAME: Descry Taiwan Exhibition
PRIMARY FUNCTION: New Consumption Pattern
INSPIRATION: Alishan has precious natural resources and great tea-making techniques. This object combinates the arts and Taiwanese tea industry to offer a new approach to industrial transformation. Create a new image of the traditional industry, Which can impress tourists and promote Taiwanese tea.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The exhibition was at Mountain Alishan, a famous tourist attraction in Taiwan, which combines arts with the Taiwanese traditional tea industry. The cross-sections cooperation of this exhibition could bring out the new business module. On each package, tourists can see different expressions conveying the same theme, "Taiwan." Immersing in the beautiful scenery of Taiwan, visitors could have a deeper understanding of Taiwanese tea culture and industry.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: -
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design concept came up at the beginning of 2017 and accomplished on December 24th, 2017. The exhibition was held at the Alpine Botanical Garden in Alishan National Forest Recreation Area until January 15th, 2019.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The exhibition presents a variety of techniques of expression. We display gift boxes made with art paper, giclee print on acid-free paper, image transfer techniques on aluminum tea bucket, circuit board art of artistic image, cyanotype, and laser engraving. The main purpose is to express the various beauty of Taiwan by different materials and different printing techniques.

CHALLENGE: We try to present delicate illustrations using interesting processes on different textures. For example, we use image transfer techniques to print several images of Taiwan on aluminum tea buckets.
