| DESIGN NAME: Corner of Tranquility PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Apartment INSPIRATION: The creator endows life to what has been created. How life continues to flourish into the most resplendent radiance is similar to the relation between the designer, the house owner and the space, where the designer endows space with vitality then hands it over to the house owner, who then inputs happiness and wonderful memories to it in order to demonstrate its greatest value. This is the most beautiful spatial design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This design project uses the modern Yuppie style in the interpretation, which is structured using various types of materials, such as grey glass, aluminum pieces and iron pieces. Through the ingenious emotional arrangement, the happy image of an embracing home has been transformed into the theme for this project, allowing people to interact with the space and create a sense of cozy harmony. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The axis of the scene has been relocated to the storage room. We have altered the direction of the door to the master bedroom, turning this part and space at the corner of the bathroom door into a storage room to satisfy the house owner’s storage needs. In the master bedroom, we have placed a wardrobe by the wall without windows. For the bed’s headboard, since it is by the window, a large sliding door with an oil painting has been specially designed to act as a large decorative painting, it is capable of blocking off the window but may also allow sunlight to pour inside if opened during the day. This enables the owner to experience bathing in the natural gift of light. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished on the 23th of March 2018 in Hsinchu, Taiwan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This design project uses the modern Yuppie style in the interpretation, which is structured using various types of materials, such as grey glass, aluminum pieces and iron pieces. For layout planning, the space is partitioned in advance within the study area, maximizing the usage through the use of glass, inputting the required wires into the woodwork design and applying the characteristics of glass materials to eliminate the issue of visual blockages, where the tile lines extend inward from the transparent glass. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The property is 73 square meters. TAGS: Interior Design, Residential, Apartment, Space, Home RESEARCH ABSTRACT: It is not hard to see that we have utilized glass materials in many of the corners, accentuating the extraordinary visual effects. The application of complete and uncut glass shows the great ingenuity of our techniques.
