| DESIGN NAME: Nanjing Hi-tech Zone Industrial Park PRIMARY FUNCTION: Industrial Park Planning INSPIRATION: The overall design of the industrial park is considered in terms of functionality and convenience. There are many planning limitations according to city regulation.The design integrates the surrounding landscape and the industrial park, making the industrial park and the surroundings an whole and creating a good working environment for the enterprises and employees in the industrial park. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This urban design through the background, development strategy and industrial layout research, overall planning, detailed planning, support system for science and industry park quality improvement, space innovation, urban design and control planning integration optimization. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We won the public bidding of this project and get entrusted for this project. Then we studied the Nanjing city urban planning regulation and Jiangsu provincial urban planning regulation. We combined the client's requirements and the local conditions to make the plan. After several rounds of discussion, the project got approved. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project took one year to finish. It is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Urban Planning Techniques SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Nanjing Urban planning regulations. Jiangsu Provincial urban planning regulations. TAGS: Industrial Park RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We done the land research, project research and traffic research. We used the data from official sources and collected our own data by field investigation to support our planning. CHALLENGE: The challenge of this project is that there are heavy regulation on urban planning in Nanjing and the conditions of the land is just too complicated. We have to fight through a pile of regulation documents to work out a plan that is viable.
