| DESIGN NAME: Good Night Show PRIMARY FUNCTION: King Maker INSPIRATION: According to the production requirements, we have to design an interior space look like a cybertecture and space capsule. So I found the Ready Player One as a blueprint, and the design adds a lot of lighting effect to create a look of futuristic city. On the left and right sides, there is a 360 degree revolving platform. Participants can enter and exit through this turn around door. Our main stage has a multi-level platform for more than 100 performer. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: VIUtv will carry out an unprecedented large-scale King Maker project, launching a new talent show good night show, summoning outstanding boys with a talent for acting! VIUtv has partnered with a number of media to foster new stars in Hong Kong. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This programme is similar to south korean TV series produces 101. VIUtv's new talent show Good night show was openly recruited. After a round of interviews, 99 all-round performing boys were born. The champion results are decided by online voting 50% and a panel of professional judges 50%. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: 9 months at Shaw studios in Hong Kong |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It has stainless steel and fireproofing plate structure inside / mat glass panel / wooden platform SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Gross built area (square meters): 500 TAGS: VIU, goodnight show, king maker, stage design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Ready player one as a blueprint, and the design adds a lot of lighting effect to create a look of futuristic city. CHALLENGE: We need to build a 360 angles setting for TV production. And to design a multi level platform for 100 contestants at the same area.
