| DESIGN NAME: Onewood PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior INSPIRATION: The drinkers have three different statuses: scholar, general, and maniac. The god of wine named Du Kang has been unable to make the ideal wine. when he about to give up, an old man entered Du Kang's dream and told him: If you want to make the perfect wine you must gather three drops of blood from three people in three days and put it into the wine for introduction in the noon of the day. So Du Kang asked three drops of blood from a scholar, general and a maniac to make the great aroma of the wine. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: OneWood is a multi-functional entertainment space located in Beijing, it is composed of three different spaces located on the first floor, the second floor and the underground space, with a total area of 396 m, The three totally different design style between the floors poses a great challenge to the design team, also the three floors represent the different personalities of the drinkers. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: From layout to lighting, material to decoration, it is very tough to transfer our concepts to the actual space. Fortunately The Wandering Earth? film prop crew make our concepts come true. Crazy is the tone of our underground space. We want to make the underground floor is the releasing of stress and hormones beyond reality. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The Project started in August 2018 in Beijing and finished in July 2019. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: From the concept to the real decoration on the B1 floor, we cooperate with "The Wandering Earth?" film props crew. CHALLENGE: How to transfer our 3 different concepts and different type of research to the real design outcome. NAME: 三生ONEWOOD PROFILE: 三生ONEWOOD is a multi-functional entertainment space located in Beijing, China. B1F - Maniac: Old surgical lights, flashing TV walls, abandoned experimental stations, neon lights... Although this floor has only 132 m², it has a lot of different completed function areas. From layout to lighting, from material to decoration, we try to create a fantastic atmosphere for this floor. The film "Wandering earth" props team made our concept come true. "Crazy" is the tone of our underground space positioning, showing personality, unbridled carnival, we hope to make the underground floor is the place beyond the reality and the place that releasing of stress and hormones of the "young indulgence" place. 1F - GENERAL: Scaly-shaped Beijing brick wall, nearly four meters high wine cabinet corridor, the general seat, Beijing old-school style combined with industrial style. "General" is the tone of the atmosphere on this floor, The ground floor is the highest floor space, and it shows the personality of general. 2F - SCHOLAR: The huge central bar separates this floor into two relatively separate areas. While sitting alone at the bar to enjoy the bartender's pleasing skills, or sitting by the window overlooking the passers-by scenery, you can have your own story on this floor. |
