| DESIGN NAME: The Peninsula Duplex Penthouse PRIMARY FUNCTION: Duplex Penthouse INSPIRATION: All the colorful and bold ideas as well as the creations and artworks are not for deliberate showing off. They are carefully considered and selected, creating a unique space that is perfect for the life of the owner. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design uses colors and furnishings to define fashion and art within the space. Rather than color pink which means femininity in popular culture, typical colors of the coastal city such as ocean blue, sand white and light grey are used against bright yellow to interpret the feminine elegance in another way. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design used innovative design skills, and also carefully selected the materials and artworks. In the family room, for example, there are coins collected around the world, cabinet painted with western buildings and arts, as well as various ceramic sculptures, which are displayed in an artistic way to show the aesthetic taste of the hostess. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The spacious extra high living room is furnished only with a set of sofas and an exquisite chair which are complemented by a sculptural end table, showing respect for the social space. The art decorations hanging from the ceiling are inspired by the changeable clouds and rains over the sea. The earthern vases brought back from the Aegean sea by the designer and the ceramic sculpture See The Sea created by the artist Shen Zhoulai enrich the space and form a modern cultural atmosphere. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Project Area: 543.9 square meters TAGS: Zhou Wei, Win-Win Design, Penthouse Design, Modern Art RESEARCH ABSTRACT: It is a duplex penthouse on the top floor which is worth 0.2 billion yuan. In the house, extra large window allows people to enjoy the beautiful mountain view, sea view and cityscape outside. The hostess accepted bold idea as well as creations and artworks to create a unique space. CHALLENGE: To practice beyond past experience is the first challenge for the designer. Anti-luxury is the second challenge which means highlighting the unique value of the top-class residence with distinctive taste and imagination.
