| DESIGN NAME: Oriental Courtyard Villa PRIMARY FUNCTION: Villa INSPIRATION: Nestled against the mountain and nearby the lake, the courtyard villa is surrounded by luxuriant trees and white walls. Here time seems to slow down and everything becomes warm and gentle, dispelling the stress and depression of modern city life. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: According to the understanding of the designer, oriental aesthetics, without excessive decorations and symbols, features plain colors and textures as well as the beauty of light and shadow, which contribute to a modern villa of oriental style. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Oriental elegance integrates into modern simple style by the combination of different materials like wood, leather, cotton and linen, rattan, glass, copper, stone, etc., and different colors like olive green, litchi white, walnut black and iron grey. Besides, there are many art works like pottery horse, flowers, chinaware and modern sculpture, creating a pure, fresh and elegant space atmosphere. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Along the hallway are two semicircle wooden gratings made of black walnut, which interpret the Chinese philosophy of square and round together with furniture and decorations of oriental style. All these contribute to a graceful, elegant and ceremonial space. Decorated with soft white curtains and the silhouette of forest on the wall, a 7-meter high space houses the living room, the dining room and the kitchen, witnessing different scenes of life and keeping everything in perfect harmony. Warm sunlight shines and a pine casts its shadow on the ground, creating a clean and graceful atmosphere. Nestled against the mountain and nearby the lake, the courtyard villa is surrounded by luxuriant trees and white walls. CHALLENGE: The project needs to carefully balanced everything including the exterior, landscape, space, soft furnishings, furniture and art works, which requires professionalism and abundant experience.
