DESIGN NAME: Wiseman Beer
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Beverage
INSPIRATION: Chinese young people often drink beer. In order to reflect the fashion sense of beer packaging and cater to the young people's market, the design expresses a quirky, mysterious and free effect. The icon image is directly and boldly embedded in the bottle, and the large area of red on the design reflects the young people’s passion. The bottle’s label and the icon are red and white, which increases a promotional effect.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Beer is the favourite liquor for most Chinese young people. The reason of producing this beer packaging is in order to make the beer packaging on the market seems more fashionable, in line with the temperament of young people and conveys the spirit of young people.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The image design on the bottle reflects the status of the young people group, which is free, mysterious, funny, free, unconstrained and full of passion. When consumers take a look or use the product, they would feel resonate with the idea of the design.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2018 and finished in May 2019 in Shenzhen.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design bottle is made of glass and plastic. The material of the bottle lid is metal. The bottle label is paper.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The packaging size is 230mm in width, 60mm in depth and 60mm in height.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The project uses the beer market for young people as a background. With the research on online information and site investigation, the designers have gained an in-depth understanding of the life and preferences of most young people in China at this stage. So the design images could attract young people group.
CHALLENGE: The design of the bottle label was initially inconsistent with the entire design. The design did not achieve the predicted result. After many altering the design, the design was completed. The technique of the bottle making was also a problem need to solve.
