| DESIGN NAME: Nanjing Yongning House PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Office INSPIRATION: Constructing is extracted as a design term for the project. The symbolic element of city wall is disintegrated and refined into the key words of pattern, void and solid, light and shadow to interpret the visual, spatial and spiritual etherealness. Functional requirements are followed and an intensive and flowing integrated layout is achieved. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: For integrated presentation of various spaces, restraint is exercised in design methods and material selection. The jointing method is used to inlay refined metals into columns and decorate wall lamps. In rigorous alignment of line, plane and body, the lines are sequenced to present a sense of both roughness and refinement and create a flowing atmosphere in details. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: As the window of real estate sales, the sales office is concerned with the quality of developers and the quality of real estate, which is naturally taken seriously by developers. And the buyers in the sales office can basically understand the situation of the building, for whether the building is in line with their own mind, but also have a general grasp. As a result, the sales office has become the "position" of both buyers and sellers. The urban vein, rational appeal and spiritual consolation are all presented to create a simplistic yet enchanting, modern yet cultural space. CHALLENGE: The sand table area and negotiation hall have an irregular structure. On the second floor are windows and office corridors, resulting in a blurry spatial boundary. Hence, metal cell structure is used to serialize the area and form a transparent space of both void and solid.
