PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interactive Installation
INSPIRATION: This project started through the abstract artistic conception way, with the help of digital multimedia form to redefine the light, and the light line into the visual effect such as liquid flow, subvert the perception of light within the cognitive, break the boundary line of the inherent cognitive form of light. Lost, immersed, reborn; fluid carries forward, converging into a powerful stream of consciousness, expressing the attachment, antagonism and blending of human life and nature.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: FLUIDS is an important part of our interactive art programs. The audiences can touch the wall make interactions to feel the change in the picture by touching the wall or to enjoy it quietly standing in the scene. When other audiences touch the wall, the audience also is integrated into the project as part of the picture. And other audiences can also enjoy a unique viewing experience when they view from the perspective of the observer.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: People interact with the screen. When the audience touches the screen, it recognizes and judges where the screen touched and feeds it back to the computer for data processing. At this time, the screen produces a feedback effect at the position touched by the audience. Achieve a visual experience of human-picture interaction.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was started in May 2019 in Daqing, and finished in June 2019. It is an important part of the interactive art program of Gooest Technology in 2019 and is a special exhibition at the first Digital Art Innovation Development and Cross-Border Integration Summit (held in 2019).

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This software used photoshop for the initial art creative design. During the software development phase, Unity3D was used to compile and produce the software logic design. Experiment design using (CFD) Computational Fluid Dynamics model.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the process of R & D, we design and develop iteratively, with a total of nine version types. Each version we conducted a small range of audience experience tests. Based on the feedback from the audience, we optimize and design logically. This will make us more targeted from the audience's point of view to create the project, and finally complete the release of the current version. This project is a very modular design concept, will make the software upgrade and change when according to the needs of different customers.
CHALLENGE: All along, how to make the flow of liquid flow more realistic on the basis of digital interaction, make the flow more artistic aesthetic is the main technical difficulty.
After a lot of time for analog design and actual calculation, and through a large number of audience data feedback results fusion, to get the results of the current extremely beautiful. And as far as possible to make it suitable for a variety of scenes for interactive appreciation. In the software operation, the software is optimized without reducing the aesthetic feeling and feeling effect, so that the software can be carried out at a lower cost of hardware.
