| DESIGN NAME: Yingjiagong Baijiu PRIMARY FUNCTION: Beverage INSPIRATION: The design element uses Dabie Mountain as a creative point in this project. The distillery of Yingjiagong Baijiu is in the mountainous area. The topographical trend image of Huoshan county has inspired the design. The designers combined the mountain shape with the traditional Chinese ink painting and line expression on the design. The image of the design seems strong and full of charm. The overall colour of the design is white. The main colour tone is green with a strong Chinese calligraphy and painting feature. The design highlights the concept of Yingjiagong Baijiu the way Chinese people's sincere hospitality and the traditional Baijiu culture. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The distillery of Yingjiagong locates in the Huoshan County of Anhui Province, an international ecological county belt at 30 degrees north latitude. The pollution-free mountain spring water in the Dabie Mountains in the nature reserve can produce a fine Baijiu. The Dabie Mountain has several natural advantages such as the ecological production area, the ecological water, the ecological raw material, the ecological fermentation, and the ecological recycling. The idea of the design is to promote the ecological and natural fermentation environment of Baijiu of Huoshan County. The design develops the product concept. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: he project aims to promote the natural Baijiu fermentation environment of the distillery of Yingjiagong. The distillery of Yingjiagong Baijiu places in the mountainous area of Dabie Mountain. Dabie Mountain has been used as a creative point in the design. The topographical trend map of Huoshan County also has inspired this design project. This design combines with a traditional Chinese ink painting and line expressions in the design to play a role in communication and promotion. In the later stage of design, the application of material and technology has continuously improved. The final result of the project went well. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in November 2018 in Shenzhen and finished in March 2019 in Shenzhen. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Packaging Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The outside box is made of plastic for cost reduction and recycling. The bottle is made of ceramic with a spray pint. The bottle cap is also made of ceramic. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The outside packaging box size is 136mm in length, 116mm in width and 290mm in height. After I had researched and visited the site of the distillery of Yingjiagong then I started to design the project. CHALLENGE: In the early stage of the design process, the designers had not produced the combination of tradition and modernity elements of the project design style very well. So the designers have continuously improved the design expression and cost control, and then the final effect went well. NAME: ANHUI YINGJIAGONG JIU CO.,LTD PROFILE: Anhui Yingjia Distillery Co., Ltd. was established in 1955 in Foshanling Distillery in Huoshan County. It is a famous Chinese brewing enterprise and a pillar enterprise of the Dabie Mountain Revolutionary Old District. It is located in the international ecological county of Anhui Province, 30 degrees’ north latitude - Anhui Province Huoshan County. With the product concept of “China's welcoming and the ceremonial world”, it strives to become “the liquor for Chinese people welcome guest” and “the most beautiful distillery in China”. In 2007, the products of Yingjiagong Liquor were recognized as “National Geographical Symbol Protection Products” by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine; in 2008, the traditional Yingjiagong brewing techniques were included in the “Anhui Intangible Cultural Heritage List”. |
