RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project was located without vista and multi-directional natural lighting, so the top design agenda was to create an interior with an inward looking view, while formulating the favored semantics of comfort and relaxation. The overall interior was complemented with visual line calibration and lighting design appearing in various parts of the interior.
CHALLENGE: The most difficult aspect of this project was the precise articulation of lighting effect, such as lighting fixture locations, height and lighting angles, which were carefully calculated so that spatial volumes such as furniture, cabinet and plantation can nurture a unique display of light and shadow.
