DESIGN NAME: The Classical Rhyme
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residence
INSPIRATION: This project located in a wide construction site at Qingpu, Taoyuan. The designer used exquisite luxury to build an eco friendly home. Firm wooden space merges with white, gray, black and earth tone colors, forms a spatial tonality of elegance, possesses warm luxurious tone to create an unique soul of space and taste, performing a magnificent spatial symphony and conversation with nature.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It is a 396 square meter detached villa and firm wooden space merges with earth tone colors, forms tonality of elegance. French windows help to achieve air convection and small windows above the kitchen counter help discharge of waste gases. All rooms zero formaldehyde use eco friendly Led lighting and energy saving electrical appliance. The wall and most cabinets are made of eco friendly wood panels. It enhances spatial texture level and living quality with sustainable environmental protection.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The original layout does not meet the client demand. The interior was crowded due to many partitions. The designer removed all partitions in the public area, used hidden cabinets and mirror to create implicit boundary for the entrance, living room, dining room and kitchen, this extended the visual effect. Wavy ceiling material is used for decoration and wooden joists are used to balance the asymmetrical beams with indirect soft lighting and harmonize the space tonality.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The site of this project is located in Qingpu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, the design and construction started since August, 2018 and completed in January, 2019 which takes about half a year.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It uses exquisite luxury as concept to build an eco friendly home. All rooms, uses safe materials and eco friendly electrical appliance to create sustainable concept. French windows bring in sceneries and breezes. Public area uses bright polished quartz floor tiles and white ceiling to brighten up the space, together with Italian Diano marble TV wall and dark wood color sofa back wall, matches with gray soft furnishing, metal decoration, large painting and plants, infuses fashion elements.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: It is a 396 square meter detached villa. Responding to sustainable environmental protection, the front and back yard are designed with sloping roof which is conducive to draining water and blocking heat, allows the interior to remain cool. French windows helps air convection, small windows added above the kitchen counter to discharge waste gases, conserve energy and reduce carbon without air conditioning. The hidden cabinets provides large storage while the kitchen shows artistic design.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project uses exquisite luxury as concept to form elegance. Public area has bright tiles, marble TV wall and dark sofa back wall, gray furnishing, metal decoration, large painting and plants. Dining area uses light color furniture with brick-like wallpaper, black mirror kitchen cabinet, blue glass wall, white counter top bar and crystal chandelier. Master bedroom has wooden furniture, leather furnishing, applique wallpaper and golden lamps. The changing room wardrobe is very fashionable.
CHALLENGE: The clients respected the designer profession and gave the strongest belief, thus, the communication, design and construction progress were very ideal and well controlled. Even though the original layout consumed lot of time to retransform, the result was very satisfying in the end, which was a combination of both classical luxury and new concept stylish space. This successfully achieved the target of both the designer and clients. It was a wonderful collaboration.
