| DESIGN NAME: SCE Jinan Parkview Bay PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: Located in Zhangqiu, Jinan, which is the hometown of Li Qingzhao - "the most talented female in Song Dynasty", the project enjoys profound historical and cultural context. The designers worked to create an elegant and delicate space in an implicit manner like interpreting a lyric poem. A variety of elements such as the misty landscape backdrop, the fresco with bird totems and red erythrina flowers on desks add vigor to the static space, thereby presenting a space as appealing as an idyllic poem. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The designers worked to create an elegant and delicate space in an implicit manner like interpreting a lyric poem. A variety of elements such as the misty landscape backdrop, the fresco with bird totems and red erythrina flowers on desks add vigor to the static space. The overall interior design is aimed at letting visitors review the history and indulge themselves in the beauty of landscape and poems in the space. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Multiple metal lines can be widely seen in the space, giving it a neat, calm and solid impression, while the soft fabric coverings and furnishings add tenderness and elegance to it. The designers adopted an implicit method to embellish the space, especially with some archaistic patterns. Besides, Chinese landscape paintings and antiques were used as ornaments, which endow the space with historical charm and a cultural ambience. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Multiple metal lines can be widely seen in the space, giving it a neat, calm and solid impression, while the ink element and soft curves add tenderness to it. Bronze and black white grey color are largely used in the space. The collision of colors adds a modern sense that bronze looks more fashionable, and the other seems more elegant and flexible. Decorations that feature Chinese classic elements are reproduced to make the space full of sense of art. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Project Area:700 sqm Main elements: Chinese classic elements TAGS: Sales center, property development, Chinese civilization, interior design, culture RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The project is situated in Zhangqiu District, Jinan, China. Zhangqiu, known as the hometown of Li Qingzhao-a female master of lyric verses in Song Dynasty, enjoys profound culture and rich humanistic resources, making it an important part of Chinese civilization. Based on local cultural background, the designers aimed to create unique visual experiences in the space and give it identifiable features, via a design theme of "Review the history and indulge in poems and landscape". CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge is the communication and performance. During the design process, the clients gave lots of different ideas and suggestions. The designers needed to combine all ideas and conform to the overall style, and also ensured that the performance can satisfy the needs of clients and present the perfect visual effects.
