| DESIGN NAME: Cong Tai Baijiu PRIMARY FUNCTION: Beverage INSPIRATION: The inspiration of the main design of the product is a style of a catch on a Chinese ancient architecture door. It implies that the rat is the first zodiac that opens the door of Chinese year. Moreover the internal side of the design which blends in the form of rat and coin suggests the meaning of wealthy and auspicious. While the external side applies the radiant effect to create a lively atmosphere. The using material of the design bottle is a marble ceramic to presents Chinese characteristics. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To welcome and also to remind people of the coming year of rat in 2020, the designers hereby design a zodiac baijiu with commemorative value. Additionally, the design transfers a memorable meaning for this coming rat year. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: For better conveying Chinese traditional culture to the world completely and encouraging people to love Chinese culture in a deeper meaning. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The material of the bottle is made of ceramic. The design uses the technology of water transfer printing. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The packaging box size is 160mm in length, 130mm in width and 320mm in height. TAGS: Illustration, Craft, Zodiac Baijiu，Chinese Culture, Rat RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In order to greet the coming Chinese rat year, the designers hereby design a product packaging design with a commemorative value specially. The outcome of design style and direction is from researching and understanding the rat. CHALLENGE: The idea of changing an image of the rat as an anthropomorphic figure in the design is to break the traditional impression of the image of the rat. In this case, this image can be better accepted and spread.
