RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In remote mountainous areas of Guizhou, tea farmers need to take their tea to the market for sale, but they can not find the core selling point to participate in the market competition. After receiving the project, the designer went deep into the local investigation and interviewed tea farmers and tea merchants. It was found that there was no trace of modern industry when tea growers cultivated tea. They did not use pesticides or fertilizers. All of them were organic and environmentally friendly, minimizing environmental pollution. This model is not common in modern tea gardens. He reminds us to live in harmony with nature.
CHALLENGE: The most difficult thing in the design is how to convey the diverse geographical environment and unique planting methods of tea plantations to consumers. Tea farmers have limited funds and can not carry out advertising and propaganda. This requires designers to convey as much information as possible when creating packaging without increasing customer costs. Ultimately, the designer decided to hand-draw the surface of the package in the form of illustrations, while listing some useful data one by one. On the premise of beauty and protection, the packaging was made into a propaganda picture.
