DESIGN NAME:
Fisher & Farmer
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Food and Beverage
INSPIRATION:
The project idea begins with Red Pepper by a girl who loves putting red lip sticks and spicy food. Designers associated the passion about this spicy food with such restaurant. Red color is an important part of creating the Chinese Style Design. It also makes people feel strong and blazing emotions with capturing people attention via using bold colors and special shapes and materials.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The overall design of Fisher and Farmer like its cuisine which should tell the brand characteristic. Distinctive design and decorating in bold colors and displaying and highlighting strong flaming sensation. We had paid greatest attention to the layout plan to achieve clients requests.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
We deliberately put the dry aging cabinet next to the door.Passengers will be easily attracted by the red wooden door frame in the first place.The artistic painting wall via the pavilions and above much attention on the wonderful restaurant experience and dining process.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in April 2018 in Hong Kong and finished in August 2018.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Designed two wooden giant red floor standing portals along the whole door facade and designed the angle of the wooden entrance frame.Curved ceiling is shown above your head and featured booth seats and small pond below it. Those comes from Chinese pavilions are divided into different wooden frames and transparent. Raised flooring in the middle to bringing out the sense of multi level and making guests feel like squeezing through Chinese pavilions. The charcoal wood veneer enhances the hot feeling and displays a refined elegance of Chinese dishes and environment.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Research Objective is to examine how to bring out ones shocking feelings but not increase the feelings of stress.As Fisher and Farmer is a restaurant specializing in Beijing cuisine, Sichuan cuisine and Cantonese cuisine, customers generally spend longer time on experiencing Hot and Spicy journey.
CHALLENGE:
A big structural column obstructing the restaurant gate and decorated it into feature door design. Selected a bold red color at entrance area to attract passenger attention. Some beautiful flowers are well planted to welcome diners at the entrance and also enhancing the privacy.
