PRIMARY FUNCTION: Website Design
INSPIRATION: Navigate your next is a concept that Infosys wanted to campaign for entrepreneurs and business leaders across the world to drive the realisation of how Digital Disruption could help in being ahead of the game. The requirement was to have an illustrative story-telling webpage that could communicate the concept in a narrative manner. We were able to design and develop animation rich webpage that top management could connect to with a corporate touch.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Infosys detailed the three types of enterprises as Visionaries, Explorer and Watcher. With a detailed research report which we designed as a supporting document from analytics provided by Infosys, and story-telling describing how Digital Disruption helps Watchers/Explorers scale up to become a Visionary to stay ahead of the game. We designed and developed the webpage to be fully responsive and optimized it to maintain a great experience across all devices.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The narration consists of the three types of enterprises - Watchers, Explorers and Visionaries and how Digital Disruption has encompassed all industries. The flow then speaks about how each enterprise wants to explore new Digital Horizons and the challenges faced by each of them. It showcases how Visionaries utilize digital data to foresee opportunities/threats and improves business models to build a better digital future and why watchers/explorers should aspire to become a visionary.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Scripts were drafted which helped in story-telling the concept. Paper sketches were made to bring the characterisation of the real world. Graphic Design, User Interface, illustrations and icons were primarily designed on Sketch App and Adobe Suite. The webpage was developed to be fully responsive with W3C validated HTML, CSS, JS, Bootstrap and JQuery.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This webpage was designed, developed and optimized for all screen resolutions, validated with W3C and made available for all browsers.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We interviewed business leaders and key stakeholders at Infosys to get a detailed understanding of the space. A key insight from the research was to portray the concept as story-telling with power-points than elaborate text, characterisation of the three types of enterprises and represent graphic-heavy designs with interactions/animation which could be self-explanatory. Since the target audience was business leaders with busy schedules, we designed the webpage to be concise and have attention-grabbing graphics & content.
CHALLENGE: Considering the diverse set of audience and stakeholder needs it was challenging to craft the story in the beginning. Once the story-narration were finalised, the next challenge was the timelines considering the complex graphics and animations we had arrived at from the design thinking workshops. The design had to be fully responsive and work seamlessly on all resolutions and optimized for load speed. With iterative and sprint approach we could overcome all these challenges.
