| DESIGN NAME: Mountain Bench PRIMARY FUNCTION: Chair INSPIRATION: The alpine-shaped bench is designed from the high mountains of Chinese painting. It provides users with a special use situation.The alpine bench not only provides the basic functions of the bench, but also shows the spirit of the bench through the smooth shape and exquisite solid wood material, giving the user an aesthetic of the oriental Zen. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Modern solid wood bench with oriental aesthetics, made of solid mahogany, has a smooth shape, and the surface is painted to ensure a high-quality appearance. It is easy to clean, easy to manufacture, and suitable for use in public spaces and living rooms. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The shape of the back like a mountain can be used as a backrest when sitting down. This shape is derived from the Chinese classical aesthetics, which provides users with both practical and aesthetic values. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Handcrafted in the China, when using local and natural sources like solid mahogany. Materials that are long lasting and naturally friendly. In collaboration with a local factory and upholstering company we are able to produce high quality design furniture. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Size Width 2200 mm x Depth 820 mm x Height 960 mm TAGS: Bench, Chinese design, solid wood, chair, oriental aesthetics RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We investigated the habits of contemporary daily life and the living room space with oriental aesthetics, with the aim of determining the real needs of the style with oriental aesthetics in the family. It is clear from this study that it is necessary to study the design form of the bench and incorporate the elements of oriental aesthetics into the design. The design of this bench attempts to fulfill these needs. CHALLENGE: To create a piece of design with oriental aesthetic product for a touch of fun. Design can easily integrate materials and technology to create joy for life.
