DESIGN NAME: The Crystal House
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential
INSPIRATION: Inspired by the client's collections, we have created bespoke display wall with a large piece of glass at side that reflects the collection items available to see it in this floor space. The collection of crystal display units are inspired by the museum how to be displayed, with its story and designer's work on the pieces, much like treasures gallery.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This property allows us getting different creative elements into this design. Like its location aside harbour view, wave concept is bringing into this layout with handcrafted feature wall in living area. With a air of luxury, it is our aim to create a space that is making client's room to become extraordinary. It is framing the bedroom with containing bath, study and rest areas into an one. This designed layout is used innovation home automation system to interact between space and scene.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Home automation system is installed in this property with fully automatic control of lighting, curtain and air conditioning system. The control system is programming for different areas and mood scene in various perspectives such as theatre mode for enjoyment of film watching or relaxing time; dinning mode for family or friends gathering. With different modes of theming, an integration of hardware and software is very important for an outcome like lighting lux, light fitting made environmental material and its colours how to collaborate with the interior design concept.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Colour scheme and lighting for making the space more comfy and stylish are the main features of this residential project, how to create storage capacity for client's collection as desired. Winnie studies different light fixtures and its technical data against lighting references of jewellery shops and gallery display to come up this project solution.
CHALLENGE: Ceiling is not high and rooms are small in size, use of curves and lighting effect to expand the sense of space.
