PRIMARY FUNCTION: A Private Residence
INSPIRATION: A global appeal to the space was an inspiration as the clients stayed in US and were well travelled. An Indian essence in this global space was desired.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The apartment smartly opens up into a large living space with visually connected lounge / library space where the larger than life moon print is installed. The yellow couch clearly demands attention in the subtle moodboard.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The clients stayed in US and wanted a global home with an indian accent. The indian artworks blend into the space and create that hint of indian inspiration.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: 6months
Mumbai - Western Suburbs.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The glass wall is fabricated with simple carpentry techniques. This wall has a roller blind from inside the library space for privacy when required.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The Moon painting required a very sharp image hence a digital print of the same was made on large format canvas.
CHALLENGE: The grey colour tone was played as the background colour for the yellow couch. The yellow colour brings in the much needed warmth and welcoming vibe to the space.
