DESIGN NAME: The Check-In
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Luggage
INSPIRATION: We wanted to create the perfect Luggage complement for our aluminum carry on but keeping the same appeal and aesthetics that that makes our brand. In the research we found that using polycarbonate instead of aluminum for the shells would make a better user experience and the luggage would be more resistant to travel wounds.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Check in was designed thinking on the user. From the size that allows you to maximize packing but keeping the weight in limit with airline regulations. A zipper less design and engineered in an unbreakable poly-carbonate shell with an aluminum frame and corners to protect against travel wounds. It's perfect for a 1 to 3 week trip. It has an anti microbial interior lining and 60 mm wide whisper quiet wheels that allow you to glide through the airport

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: -
CHALLENGE: Our main creative challenge was finding the perfect balance between weight, resistance and size for the Luggage. Airlines are really strict when it comes to weight and size of the bags. We wanted to create a check in bag that could withstand a hardcore traveler, allowing the maximum packing weight limit but still being easy to handle.
