PRIMARY FUNCTION: Vacuum Cleaner
INSPIRATION: As a relatively high frequency product, vehicle vacuum cleaner has the following problems in traditional products:
1. It is too large to be put in the carriage. It can only be put in the trunk, which brings obstacles to the user's experience.
2. The comfort of man-machine is not good and the design of handle is unreasonable.
3. Appearance tends to be instrumental and can't resonate with users.
In response to these problems, we changed the product to allow it to be placed in the carriage space.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Product design is compact and portable, mainly used in household car interior dust and debris cleaning. The product breaks the traditional vehicle vacuum cleaner's characteristic of being tool-oriented. While satisfying the function of vacuum cleaner, the product is miniaturized to make it easy to put into the storage space of the space-intensive carriage. At the same time, it satisfies the ergonomics on the basis of the minimalist form, and makes a comfortable handle.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Work: Press the power button when the car is in use, and the product starts to work. The suction nozzle is aimed at the dust and sundries in the car. Driven by the negative pressure air, the dust and sundries are absorbed into the dust collection bin. When the garbage in the corner or the garbage with strong adhesion can not be sucked up by the negative pressure, the suction nozzle assembly can be installed, and the garbage is blown up and then sucked into the dust collection bin.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in May 2018 in Shenzhen and finished in August 2018 in Shenzhen

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The product has the functions of both dust collection and air blowing. The built-in lithium battery is used as power source. The motor drives the fan to inhale dust into the removable dust collection bin. After filtering by HEPA components, the air is discharged. After the exhausted air is blown out through the air blower (removable accessories), the stubborn garbage inside the vehicle or other attached to the surface can be blown up and then inhaled into the dust collection bin.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The product is mainly aimed at young people who use small and medium-sized cars. It is compact and portable. The design has a sense of fashion and technology. At the same time, the design of charging base extends the use scene of home or office environment, covering more people and improving the market acceptance of the product. In addition, the design of air duct, heat dissipation and temperature sensor of the product increases the safety of the product in the process of use, avoiding overheating caused by continuous use, resulting in short circuit or even fire of the product.
CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge encountered in the design process is to coordinate the relationship between space and performance. It requires repeated experimental optimization within the design team, the selection of appropriate hardware, the maximization of utilization space while meeting the performance requirements, and the reduction of product volume.
