DESIGN NAME: AccountAnts
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Social Media Communication
INSPIRATION: We were inspired by our own problem. None of our team-members had knowledge in bookkeeping. Hiring an accountant was not an option, because we would not be able to monitor and evaluate his/her work. Therefore, we needed an outsource company to take care of our finances and communicate with us in an easily understandable language.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The visual communication strategy we chose for AccountAnts is absolutely different from what you normally expect from bookkeeping / financial organizations. Companies from this industry mostly post realistic photos of formally dressed corporate workers, that shake hands or sign contracts. Our approach was different. We wanted to creatively illustrate "The Reason Why" start-ups and other small to medium companies should partner up with AccountAnts, featuring the strengths in an engaging manner.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We couldn't have wished for better results. Client acquisition rate has seen a constant monthly growth of 50% and the company has blossomed into the go-to accounting service provider for the already startup-minded market.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Project started in February 2018, Tbilisi, Georgia and is still going on.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: After brainstorming on ideas first sketches are drawn on the paper. Afterwards we use Adobe Illustrator to create illustrations, which are finalized in Photoshop. The end-products are posted on social media channels.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the last few years, Georgian market underwent the dramatic transformation, as the millenials slowly started becoming the decision-makers by creating their own businesses and startups.
Our main finding was that the startup owners were passionate to operate within their field of expertise, but most of them did not want to spend time on bookkeeping. Therefore, they needed someone who could do the "boring" part of their job and interpret technical parts of accounting for them.
CHALLENGE: The main challenge was to present a bookkeeping company in a non-standard, interesting way. To ensure our target segment that their future relationship with AccountAnts will be fun and easy.
