| DESIGN NAME: Alfred PRIMARY FUNCTION: Outdoor Wood Oven INSPIRATION: The forms of ALFRED come from the shotcrete technique that existed in the products of the manufacturer Four Grand-Mère who manufactures ALFRED. There is an inspiration in the works of renowned architects of the concrete shell Antti Lovag and more particularly Pascal Häussermann. The idea here is to create a homogeneous shape that offers a soft harmony combined with a simple and functional design such as those practiced in Scandinavian design. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: ALFRED is an outdoor wood oven designed with Barbecues design codes to modernize wood fire cooking. The ease of use and security have been worked to provide a powerful wood oven easy to use, friendly and safe. The design uses the best of each material such as glass, cast iron, welded metal, composite and insulating materials and also wood to offer an original and harmonious result. Now cooking slow as fast becomes child's play. So let's go smoke. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Alfred wood oven offers many advantages. Its designer spirit, the modernity of its lines and the technical innovations of its design completely change the classic codes of outdoor cooking. Its low consumption of wood makes it economical and ecological. Its powerful insulation gives it exceptional performance and extremely reassuring use. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in November 2016 in France. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The UX design has made it possible to design an insulated product with insulation materials for very high temperatures that avoid burns on the outer shells.
