| DESIGN NAME: Rongqiao Kindergarten PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kindergarten INSPIRATION: Inspired by the "rainbow, bubble", the fleeting beauty of design, Combine the theme of "FUN", Showing the beauty of nature, Add more fun to the space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Rongqiao parent-child park is the first pre-school education center of rongqiao group in China. It is located in Rongqiao Shuixiang Hotel, Fuzhou City, Fujian province, with an indoor area of 3,300 square meters. Early education activity room and daycare room; Outdoor garden is 3,000 square meters OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The concept is inspired by rainbows and bubbles.The project combines the theme of “FUN” to create a vibrant, natural and pure wonderland with elements such as color, geometry and texture. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was designed in March 2017 in Shanghai, China. The construction drawings were completed in July 2017. The contractor started since August 2017 and was completed in June 2018 to be delivered to the owner in Fuzhou, China. Opened in September 2018. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Comprehensive consideration 1, 1, E0 class ecological materials and easy procurement and transportation; 2, fire rating B1 or above; 3, reasonable budget control; 4, high-quality structural remodeling; 5, integration of MED, structural implementation to make sure the project would be accurate and appropriate. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The interior design area is 3042m2: 1F design area is 1090m2, the original floor height is 4.8M, the structure height is 4.05M, the ceiling height is 3.6M; 2F design area is 1012m2, the original floor height is 4.5M, The structure height is 3.8M, the ceiling height is 3.3M; the 3F design area is 940m2, the original floor height is 4.5M, the structure height is 3.8M, and the ceiling height is 3.3M; the diameter of atrium at 2nd floor is 9M, at the 3rd floor is 5.4M, and the atrium height is 15.8 meters. TAGS: Rainbow Bridge, Bubble, FUN, Environmental Teaching, Safety, Fun, Sunshine RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In order to provide the space for children aged 0-5 education institution ,we consider the following aspects in interior design: 1. Humanized design (child ergonomics, psychological care) 2. Safety design (body protection, health and epidemic prevention, safe evacuation, etc.) 3 Inspiring design (color psychology, children's behavioral psychology) actively conveys the core spirit of MAS “environment is education”. CHALLENGE: The project is the reconstruction of the old building. Considering the budget and creating the appropriate space for the children's use, We focus on the remodeling of the main space , and the original three-floor corridor atrium is changed into the outer ring corridor, and the 1F and 2F classrooms surround the new atrium; Retain the space of the original 3F corridor around the atrium, and cleverly use the curved bridge with a span of 8M in 2F to cohesive the space, which not only meets the users' circulation and fire evacuation requirements, but also maximizes the space. It will be multi-functional interactive space with natural lighting for children exploration, parent-child reading, and story-telling.
