| DESIGN NAME: Zip Lamp PRIMARY FUNCTION: Wall Light INSPIRATION: The project was realized for a specific place, in a building dating back to 1752. The main task was to find the perfect union of the warm, cozy atmosphere of this historic building with its long history, and a modern restaurant with a distinctive style of cuisine. The wall-mounted fixture is a stylized white cooking hat, as for the construction a zipper is used as a detailed symbol of a unifying element. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Zip lamp has a strict and clear cylindrical shape, dressed in longitudinally located zippers, individually joined to each other, forming a surface pattern that passes light in a way that creates a different, unknown and interesting feeling OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Zip lamp is a striped decorative structure obtained by sealing zipping together the individual components to form a surrounding surface. This allows the passage of light to create a textured luminescence around the entire fixture, which gives r a delicate balance between shape and essence. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Wall lamp with central LED light and light adjustment. The base is made of laser-cut steel parts, powder-coated. Cylindrical part is made of laser cut Plexiglas and zippers. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Diameter: 150mm Height: 500mm ,Plexiglas, Steel TAGS: Zip-lamp, Design lamp RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: The patience to create the correct tautness when the zips are attached to one another, and the pattern thus created to partner in the most appropriate manner with both the cylindrical part and the other components of this lighting unit.
