INSPIRATION:
As talking about inspirations for the design, the designers shared the experience at the 2014 Milan Furniture Fair. "At the fair, I encountered a young man who showed great enthusiasm for design, though not receiving systematic education in this regard. However, I also saw confusion in his eyes, which reminded me of my school days. My intention for design is very simple: creating natural spaces which can warm and comfort the users."

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Bearing in mind that the original intention of design is to serve people, the designers created this open-plan office where users can enjoy working and at the same time ensures efficiency of work and communication. The designers attached great importance to designing a leisure area in the office. In such relaxing environment, different teams can communicate freely and even generate collision of ideas in deep level.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The project is situated at Nanning, China, with a total area of 543 sqm. Bearing in mind that the original intention of design is to serve people, the designers created this open-plan office where users can enjoy working and at the same time ensures efficiency of work and communication. The designers attached great importance to designing a leisure area in the office. In such relaxing environment, different teams can communicate freely and generate collision of ideas in deep level.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
For lighting design in each independent offices, the interior and lighting designers made a new attempt. As opposed to installing lighting fixtures on the ceiling, they determined to use Waldmann free-standing luminaires. Such solution not only gives the ceiling a simple and clean look but also ensures the light to be soft and pleasant. The average color temperature of light is 4000k, creating a bright and pleasant working environment.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Founded in 2012, CROYO is a diversified company dedicated to establishing design industry ecosphere. Based on its understanding of new design styles, CROYO focuses on offering overall spatial design solutions, whilst extending services on furniture arrangement, brand design and promotion of design culture.

CHALLENGE:
The original space merely occupied an floor area of 280 sqm, with a story height of 5.09 m. Therefore, the designers took setting up a floor slab as the first step, so as to expand the usable area. Considering that the thickness of the floor slab would affect user's experience, they tried to integrate some structures with the walls, arrange the structure pillars in reasonably and deliberate on the position of each lighting fixture. Eventually, a 150mm-thick floor slab was designed and installed.

Shape, light and texture, and interpretation of design by research, and by professional techniques, to reflect our unique ingenuity through final figurative space form rather than mechanical reproduction. Super Normal Design, takes interior space construction as starting point, independent research as supporting point and its own commercial practicing as background; and focuses on the R&D and design of cultural and commercial spaces.
