| DESIGN NAME: Tahoe·Cathay Courtyard Villa PRIMARY FUNCTION: Model Villa INSPIRATION: The overall interior space presents a neo-classical style. With a view to echoing the classical European-style architectural appearance, RWD added elements of the similar style to the spatial design. With the collision of the modern and the classical, as well as the blend of Chinese and Western features, the design team created a unique luxury living space that combines modern simplicity and classic elegance. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The three-floor interior space features clear functional division and separation of the dynamic and the still. With B1 and F1 functioning as dynamic spaces for recreation and F2 serving for resting. An elevator passes through all the floors, which facilitates spatial interaction. The materials used in the villa conform to national requirements, providing a sense of security for the occupants. Decorations and electric appliances are designed to create a luxury and enjoyable living environment. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The foyer screen is composed of wired art glass that conforms to national requirements for fire and explosion prevention. The wood floorings are manufactured from natural walnut and oak that have great flexibility. The glue used for the flooring processing contains few formaldehyde. The light beige dominating the space is supplemented by wood color and taupe, rendering a sedate and elegant indoor environment. The master bedroom has an independent bathroom and a walk-in closet that combines the functions for resting, making up and storage. A relaxing underground recreation area is created for entertainment, movie watching and exercise. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in May 2018 and finished in Oct 2018.
