DESIGN NAME: Cromia Mipel Milano
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Stand
INSPIRATION: Inspired by the shape of a bag, the stand has two bright side walls which change subject each season, in coordination with the displayed products in the exhibition window. The exhibition parallelepipeds are made of wood with a cement-like finish. Two S-shaped shelves with LEDs characterize the main interior wall. The display case is set up for each edition in harmony with the walls of the stand. Inside, a bar completes the welcome for visitors.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The inspiration came from the shape of a bag, which characterized the external walls of the stand. I took inspiration from this to customize the stand for each season by changing the covering sheets on the large Led lights. The stand was conceived as a shop, the interior is characterized by various exhibition areas that present products divided by lines.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The walls are the distinctive element that make the stand unique and transformable.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started with the September 2016 edition of the MICAM in Milan and is installed twice a year.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The stand was made of lacquered wood and finished wood with a cement effect. Sideways the two walls are covered with prints on backlit arlight banners.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research was aimed at giving a unique character to the stand. The goal was to identify the Brand. To create this project I studied the client, trying to understand the philosophy of the brand. The result was very positive, the customer also entrusted me with the store project.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to give value to the Brand Cromia, with a bright and representative stand, where the bags could be enhanced. Creating a new, more contemporary identity.
