DESIGN NAME: Gasometro 2015
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Advertising
INSPIRATION: The inspiration was basically emotional. I just tried to figure out how to represent the summer event in one frame. Floating objects recall me a bit of surrealism which gives a touch of magic like the typical beautiful summer's memories.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This Adv was made for a summertime event in Rome, 2015. Food, drink, party and culture are the core of this entertainment event. The ad is a mix of iconic symbols of event's concept that floats around the big typography Gasometro, while the color palette refers at summer sky at sunset, it’s exactly at the sunset that the event starts. Another relevant symbol is the shadow on the background: it shows the Gasometro, a big structure in the location that gives the name at the event.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Advertising was printed in a big printed format, it's aim to be clear and direct to get a great legibility in the city.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The duration was about 2 weeks, in Rome.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Graphic realization, mainly with Photoshop. The project was realized in print and video version.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: There was different size of the print version, mostly the 4x3m. The video version was adapted to the social standard size.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design team work a lot on coding the iconic symbol of the event, to show just the necessary information and earn a great compromise between minimal design and a satisfying communication.
CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge was to identify the perfect objects to show on the advert to make it cool and clear.
