| DESIGN NAME: Long Park Phase II Show Flat 3C-B PRIMARY FUNCTION: Show Flat INSPIRATION: The dining room and the living room are combined as one open area. The living room features wood flooring, and the background wall that matches well with the handicraft painting, wall lamps and greenery. The master bedroom is dominated by low-saturation colors, with golden elements brightening the space. Floor of kitchen is covered with white marbles. It is connected with the dining area. The balcony looks like a bar counter but functions as kitchen counter, practical and visually pleasing. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Fashion is always a hot topic, and a manifestation of individuality. Coco Chanel said, "In order to be irreplaceable, one must be different". This show flat is suitable for a family of three, features a modern and minimalist design style, exquisite details and cozy atmosphere. Through a new interpretation of fashion, the designers applied the principle of "less is more", ingeniously partitioned and fully utilized the space, and presented fashion in a different way. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: On the premise of meeting functional requirements, the designers utilized a coordinated color palette and novel yet elegant formations, thereby creating an artistic atmosphere and fantastic visual effects in the space. The simple grains of marbles, the special luster of metal, and the calming texture of fabric, together endow the space with a modern and minimalist gray tone. These materials are consistent with the taste of modern people, adding delicacy and individuality to life. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This project adopted a material palette of white marbles, solid wood floorboards, brushed black steel, wood veneers, wired glass, grey mirrors, as well as cloth and leather coverings. The wood veneers were custom made at the factory, environmentally-frie SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: With a construction area of 89 m2, the project consists of an independent living room, a dining room, a kitchen, two washrooms (one is public washroom, and the other one is in the master bedroom), three bedrooms including the master bedroom, the secondary bedroom, and the guest room which also functions as the study and kid's room. TAGS: DHO, Dickson Hung Organization, residential, show flat, DHO international design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This show flat was designed for a family of three, features a modern and minimalist design style, exquisite details and cozy atmosphere. The husband is engaged in investment industry, with great ambition, international vision, and good taste. And he is keen on stylish, simple and quality things. The wife pays great attention to body care, fashion and quality of life, and has a thing for reading. And the son is 6 years old, smart and active, fond of music and assembly toys. CHALLENGE: The greatest challenge was meeting the client's high requirements for the project. With the spirit of striving for the best, the designers broke the conventional logic, overturned the design solution for several times until finding the best one, carefully selected the furniture, decorations and materials. Based on the principle of "design for people", the designers made reasonable use of each inch of space, and optimized every detail in the space on the premise of satisfying practical functions.
