| DESIGN NAME: 104 Cafe PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: The designers have added another concept to the three-dimensional space, the concept of Time. Our designers intended for the concept of timeline to express the changing spatial aspects, in response to this multi-functional cafe and this agile office space. From the ceiling to turnable fences to the final delivery, the concept of time flow and consistent human flow speaks out to the dimension. Through time, according to the appropriate functional spatial planning, allows the spirit to be self-defined for the company itself. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Project holds as a place for eating, coffee breaking, meeting, group working, spurring employees to interact more, sparking fresh ideas and boosting collaborations. It holds the purpose of being a multi-functional place, not just a regular Cafeteria or another Cafe, as stated by our designers. The best part about the space is the Art pieces on the wall is from a kid's gallery which sponsors from the corporation's foundation. It's full of love, care and creates corporation unique values. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The dramatic red colour expresses passion and warning were arranged on the wall cleverly dividing the different service section of the space further extend the space and create different layers of space. Through the combination of simple elements and colours, the design represented the exclusive theme of this cafeteria. The space has been defined with its different function in a different timing. It is a cafe, a meeting room. It is a cafeteria, where everyone can come and dine here in the afternoon. It is where various types of workshops and party events can take place for the employees. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in July 1st 2018 in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and was exhibited in Shanghai in Dec. 2018. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: At first sight, the curves laminate ceiling leading the eye focus into space till the turnable fences at the back of the space, it extends the space and symbolises times flow. To make these matching perfectly, designers extend the branding colours into the turnable triangles wooden fence meanwhile, create a mystery of the private section also make space has different layers. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 255 Square meter TAGS: Cafe, Cafeteria, Restaurant, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Our designers study the process of different services flow and corporation's demand we adjusted the design and circulation to match the client's needs. Through the design concept of the Time and design elements to define the different spatiality and different area of the space. CHALLENGE: Other then the form and style of the cafe and cafeteria, the more challenging part was to convey the spirit of the multi-functional space in responding to the agile office place.
