| DESIGN NAME: Artist's Craftland PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Resort INSPIRATION: Surrounded by massive of green and mountain brought an South of France resort experience and the free spirit connection with the nature. Tailor-made furniture also plays with craftsmanship and materials. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: As a showcase of the residential development among a green environment, it is imagined to be a second home for people who enjoy an away from the hustle city, and who enjoy their arts and crafts here. Rooms are re-arranged and separated by textured glass to create a sense of fluidity. Space are extended to establish a fresh and playful interior. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We used a contemporary approach to combine the use of traditional wood with other materials including handcrafted weaving thread, textured glass, leather and metals. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project completed in 2018 and located in Sai Kung, the New Territory of Hong Kong. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
