| DESIGN NAME: Variable PRIMARY FUNCTION: Concrete Bench INSPIRATION: I have been exploring how to get some forms with certain regularity from simple forms and how to use the environment friendly materials. We have tried many kinds of segmentation methods and got this form. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design idea is the endless exploration of unknown forms ，the design concept is that everything in the universe is derived from the simple one. And at this work, it is made by dividing the positive and negative elements of a cube. Through the combination of this element, diversified forms can be realized. It is suitable for various places to realize the organic combination of public art and public facilities. Strong visual impact, simple mold, pouring in shape and packaging transportation is convenience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The use of this work in a public environment can enhance the artistic atmosphere of the use environment and break the monotonous confinement. Users can form different effects through different combinations. In the relationship between works and users, there is not only "sitting", but also "changing" PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in the beginning of 2018 and finished recently. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The work adopts concrete material, and the construction waste residues are used as aggregate in proportion to meet the needs of the use function and realize the reuse of the construction waste residue. Using a simple mold, the product can be poured into shape.
