| DESIGN NAME: European Forest PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: The countryside-style that blends the fashioned materials and thoughtfully considers the lighting and air quality has present to the family the bright and modest dining room and kitchen. The extensively open layout manifests the expanded and pleasant visual perceptions. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: As the subject of the residential interior design project, is renovated to not only the new layout improving the previous overlapped public and private areas, also the great-capacity storage room that more effectively helps maintain a tidy living environment and moreover highlights the design aesthetics. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The public area mainly composed of the open living room, dining and kitchen, all of which are visually delineated by means of the wood beam and the distinct floors. The floor-to-ceiling wood blinds, decorated in the living room, properly adjust the comfortable daylight and air introduced into the house. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The entryway, as the transition area connecting the public and private areas, is decorated with the bright wood cabinets and the branch-like wall racks, all of which develop the alluring impression. The apple green wall embellished at the entryway, meanwhile, exposes the natural charms. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is 198 square meters TAGS: Interior Design, Residential ,House,Space RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The dried flower bouquets ornamented on the iron ceiling rack consolidate the European countryside and contemporary elegant style that is one-of-a-kind. The light-color solid wood dining table, in the middle space, and the antler-like ceiling lamp reciprocally develop the Nordic textures. The dining atmosphere, in the dining room adjacent to the window, is lustrous and pleasant. The area adjoining the dining room with the low cabinet, which is adorned with stones, is decorated with the bookshelves, where the family can play piano as well. This area elegantly discloses the evolutions of space and expanded visual perception concurrently. CHALLENGE: The areas alongside the fireplace-like wall, on the right, implies the dining room and kitchen. Unlike that in the living room, the layout in the dining room and kitchen is linearly established that creates the smooth traffic flow. The hexagonal floor tiles implicitly indicate the area as the kitchen, where the open island counter spawns the laid-back aura.
