| DESIGN NAME: Memory of Purple PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: Space exists by virtue of people, whose desire to lifestyle originates from the personalities. This house, as the subject of residential interior design project, is decorated with the soft colors, of which the daylight scattering along the greenery plants through the windows in the living room develops the comfortable ambience. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: For the complete space integrating the indoor and outdoor environment, the phytoncide, fresh air and sunlight smoothly filter through the wood blinds in the house. In the living room, the main wall, rather than normally being installed with TV, is adorned with the copper wall-mounted shelf, which is the one-of-a-kind feature in this design project. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The souvenirs from countries displayed on the shelf not only signify the life journey from past to future, also shows prove the house owner’s constant self-motivation to “fill the shelf.” PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in Jun. 2018 in New Taipei City, Taiwan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The public area is divided into the living room, dining room and study room by the furniture arrangements, of which the elegant dining room is decorated with the plain wood table and chairs and the delicate metal ceiling lamps. The kitchen area is delineated by the clear glass, where the elementary but functional wall closets and iron wall shelves moderately ornament the decoration details. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is 79 square meters TAGS: Interior Design,Residential,H RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The bright-color sofa, in the living room, faces the window, alongside the wood and metal shelves constitute the easy platform, on which the cute indoor vines corresponding to the outdoor arbor trees reciprocally develop the enlivening visual perception. The wood and metal wall shelves with the baked finish are intriguing, of which the crisscrossing wood and metal components develop the stylish attraction. The system cabinets at the entryway and the metal wall shelves in the living room mutually enhance the taste of interior design. CHALLENGE: The long desk behind the sofa figuratively defines the area as the study room, where the window seat raises the laid-back aura. The house is comprehensively embellished with the pink violet, and the distinct colors adorned in specific area are enchanting. The decoration components of woods and vintage bronzes manifest the changed effects of warmth and colors. The exposed track lightings and indoor plants reciprocally strengthen the coarse and natural ambience that evolves into the royal-purple elegant Nordic-style residence.
