DESIGN NAME: Oriental Permanent Art
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Resident Villa
INSPIRATION: The house owner prefers the elegant light Chinese style.
Therefore, use lily white and log color as the main tone of the design.
To avoid the space is too cheerless,, artistic glass doors are sprayed by hand.
Hope to affix kind of lucid and exquisiteness to the interior space through the soft Aquamarine blue tone.
Otherwise, taking into account that the owner has the habit of brewing tea, a tea ceremony room is especially set up.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: On weekdays, only the owner and his wife live together. In view of the fact that there will be relatives, friends and guests visiting during the holidays, in particular enlarged the external public sphere. And take the living room as the turning point to connect the private area. Hope to give visitors the impression of open-minded, meanwhile preserving the "plain" and "tranquil" of the homeowner's daily life.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the tea ceremony room, there's a hanging cast iron teapot and original wooden tea table, presents the concepts of "simplicity, serenity, leisure and elegance", creating the best combination of life and art.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project is finished in 2018, located in northern Taiwan.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The premium luxury round Burmese jade hangs at the entrance, which is a sign of the heirloom, with the meaning of "auspicious" and "consummation", and demonstrates the inner spirit of Chinese style.
The ink glass sliding door on the side of the restaurant, also brings out the "Zen" impression of Chinese splashing-ink art.
The "Along the River During the Qing Ming Festival" painting which hand-embroidered by the hostess' mother, take it as bedroom headboard decoration. Hope that the humanistic spirit can be omnipresent.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This is a 290 square meters residential space with three rooms.
The tea ceremony room is one of the bright spot. The house owner wants to keep the airflow and vision in circulation. Therefore, instead of making doors, we adopt the technique of raising 15 and 12 centimeters by subsection.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: For the house owner, life is inextricably linked to tea ceremony. So what we must do is devoting to fit out in design style. Sufficiently spacious space, expedient for family members and friends to interact - is the "Confucianism" social philosophy. Via simple and neat colors, discarding complicated ornaments, maintaining clarity of mind - is the apperception of "Zen".
CHALLENGE: The difficult part is that due to tea ceremony room serves as a turning point connecting the three rooms and one bathroom, and the doors need more than 90 centimeters wide, in the case of insufficient wall, the final decision is that from two guest bedrooms each pull out a little space, to make the moving line retain enough spacious path, yet won't damage the whole structure too much.
