DESIGN NAME: Houzz office in TLV
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office Design
INSPIRATION: houzz new offices in a unique project that combines sophisticated planning for 140 employees in experimental diversified spaces. The character of the client as a major figure in the global design scene required high design level. The design combines comfort and high visibility, designed to give a high design experience.
The design was inspired by the company website. As the website the work spaces divided as the room of the home: wine as wine cellar, bathroom, pet, play and music rooms and garden
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The office designed as a home, inspired by the client - HOUZZ, that is one of the world's largest online design platforms. Part of the design concept comes from photographs selected from the cleint's website, used as wall paintings to inspire the design of the rooms.
For example, a photo featured in the website of a backyard terrace has become a wall painting, leading to the addition of a grass-green carpet, garden furniture, plant pots and greenery.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The international company’s offices, housing its development center, occupy 1,200 m2 on one of the higher floors of an office tower in Tel Aviv, facing the sea.
Each space is carefully and authentically planned to match its unique character, emphasizing the comfort of the employees, the feeling of home projected by the offices, and the company's character and vision.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: the project started is May 2018 in TEL AVIV, ISRAEL, and finished in December 2018, planning took 6 month before.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Six months of planning preceded the start of the implementation. Every detail was taken into consideration so the office would be unique but still part of the other ten offices the client have worldwide.
CHALLENGE: The main change was designing a unique work space that would feel like home but still will function as an office for 140 employees. in addition the design should be unique and special, but still remain in the houzz's language as has already assimilated in it's ten other offices around the globe
