| DESIGN NAME: Beauty of Smoothness PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential House INSPIRATION: This project is of small area residential space, hoping to allow the space to present a natural and comfortable refreshing sentiment through the display of pure white color tone and the original wooden material. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It creates the simple yet non-monotonous quality, and besides the living room, the dining room and the kitchen in the 83m2 area with a square layout, there are also the reading area and three rooms including the master bedroom. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The front-end space is of an open-style public area including the living/dining room, the rear-end is the space for the master bedroom, the secondary bedroom and the bathroom, allowing the bedrooms to be grouped with privacy. On the whole, it is a residential house with smooth circulation and versatile functions. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project finished in Jul. 2017 in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The dining room adjacent to the entrance hallway uses wooden dining table along with the application of same-colored wooden cabinet, while simple and well executed lines are used to deThe arrangement of the T-shaped dining table creates the dining and kitchen area, which is decorated with white metallic lights to offer both coldness and warmth at the same time, thereby upgrading the quality and the atmosphere. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The space is 83 square meters TAGS: Interior Design, Residential ,House,Space RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The public area uses pure white color tone as the core, while the wooden tone is extended from the dining room to the living room and the study, demonstrating pure colors. The television wall uses ceramic white artificial stone patterned bricks with solid wood cabinet, while leaving passageways on both sides to accomplish the function of partition without blocking off the overall space; the rear side is also used as the bookshelf for the reading space, further offering a peaceful corner for the reading space. CHALLENGE: The central island design adds a great deal of lighting, hence the ceiling uses only mainly integrated lighting equipment, allowing the overall visual effect to be taller and broader. The study room continues the application of original wood color, where the interlocked wall surface design is combined with stylish iron pieces to demonstrate the facade.
