| DESIGN NAME: Yuyue LongmenHotpot Restaurant PRIMARY FUNCTION: Restaurant INSPIRATION: The dragon is one of the most representative traditional cultures in China. The incorporation of color dragon culture into the design can work to form the feature of grandness and magnificence without reducing the classical elegance.The key of the whole style lies in the balance of fashion and individuality, magnificence while departing from the conventional pattern. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This case is about the design for a traditional hot pot restaurant located in Chengdu, China. As a variety of Chengdu hot pots are emerging on the market, the designer hopes to get beyond the conventional mindset and create a decorative design with innovation and unique features. The combination of post-modern style and Chinese characteristics can offer a different dining experience to customers. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Spatially, the dragon totem with Chinese characteristics is considered, and the main color is Chinese red. Considering the bigger oil fume of chafing dish, the smoke exhaust circulation system in the chafing dish table is combined on the smoke exhaust. Resolutely big hot pot shop taste heavy problem. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was launched in May 2018, completed in Kaohsiung in July 2018, and exhibited in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China in December 2018. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Designer employs glass fiber reinforced plastic with dragon totem in a large area and the dragon-shaped steel structure on the ceiling lightens up the whole theme.
