| DESIGN NAME: Light Mosaic PRIMARY FUNCTION: Apartment House INSPIRATION: The windowpanes filter the light and soften the interior color spectrum. What the design wants to express is the warmth of light seeps into the room. Everything is illuminated. Days in, days out. The fabric of home harbors our emotion. Then beauty arrives. The necessities in life are presented and placed in order. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project uses the warmth of light grayness as the stable support of the ceiling and the floor. The intersecting lines define the functionality and aesthetic visions. The alternating rhythm of the void and the solid of the colonnade break up the closeness of the cabinet. The solid stone is the structural support. The embedded lighting with mirror surface soften the space and the cabinets for collection and exhibition. The materiality of wood, metal and gray mirror clads the posts and the lintels. Space expands into a holistic aura. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Marriage is a ritual in life, and the exchange of rings is a commitment of mutual support. The designer sets a starting point for the two people in this stable home, waiting for the newcomers to join in and telling the mellow story of the new soul. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The tea glass grille between the living room and the entrance is lightly blocked to open the door and reveal the sudden visual sense, which makes the living space sway a few pieces of brown water, and the wooden color of the floor merges into one; Face-column type, using a seamless white stone covering column. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: An area of space is 330 square meter. TAGS: Luxury Design, Light and Shadow, Taichung City RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The warmth of light and shade in the room. The object in the days of life. The fabric of home is harbored by the emotions. Beauty arrives. The necessities in life nicely tucked in the corner. CHALLENGE: The juxtaposition of the void and the solid breaks up the closeness of cupboard. The solid stone is the structural component. The embedded lighting with mirror surface soften the space and the shelves for exhibition and collection. Home before a performative place. Extended to the ceiling, the veneer of wood, metal and gray mirror wrap the posts and lintels, extending the space into a holistic atmosphere.
