| DESIGN NAME: Yujing Garden Private Residence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Private Residence INSPIRATION: The design for private house is quite different for that for showflat. The designer needs to take into consideration the daily requirements of the residents and try to avoid unpractical decorations. The color scheme, the shape and structure and the functions should be both beautiful and practical. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Modern simple style will never be out of date, which gets rid of the hustle and bustle and keeps the essence of life: purity, cleanness, quietness, simplicity and elegance. The color palette of Giorgio Morandi is used to interpret the aesthetics of life in the space: pale blue, light pink, oatmeal color, all are skillfully employed, allowing people to experience the beauty of life in a pure, free, warm and comfortable atmosphere. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: When entering the house, one will find that the design has integrated the peace of nature with the aesthetics of modern life, creating a space of elegance and comfort. Without excessive decorations and defined style, the designer starts from the perspective of aesthetics, caters for the taste and hope of the owner, and allows people to return to the aesthetics of life and enjoy life itself. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The semi-open dinning room is flexible for both Chinese and Western dining. Dominated by white color and built with customized integrated cabinets, the space looks spacious and bright, making full use of every corner and connected seamlessly with the surroundings.On the second floor, a recreation area is sheltered behind the pale blue shelf and the winding corridor. The L-shaped sofa, white animal-shaped seat, lazy sofa and soft carpet create an ideal space for leisurely family time. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Project Area: 550 square meters TAGS: Henry Zheng, HYY Design, Private Residence, Aesthetic Experience RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The house is located in Dongguan Yujing Garden, Guangdong, which enjoys natural views and peaceful atmosphere of the golf court and Huying Park. The quality of a house is not only defined by materials but also by the aesthetic qualities and comfortable experience of its spaces. A successful private house design will create spaces to carry the ideal and hope of the residents. CHALLENGE: Traditional villas are usually labeled no more than luxury, while the aesthetic values of the residents have been changing as time goes by. Therefore, nowadays, interior designers should pay more attention to how to redefine a private home for the owner.
