DESIGN NAME: Essential
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Dressing Table
INSPIRATION: The name makes a metaphor for what is essential to a woman's life, it may be makeup, or elements of work. The table is still used for reforestation wood, in appreciation of nature. Designed for all women, all ages and inspired by the Scandinavian style, it is simple, lightweight, has rounded corners and feminine. It is the result of a composition between oak wood, light metal and leather details.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: With Scandinavian design, the vanity has simple lines and beautiful contours that value the oak wood from reforestation. The feet are turned and on the table, there are two drawers and space in the back of the bench to store makeup. The thin metal frame is support for the brushes and the mirror. Leather details, handles and door brushes, plus an extra vase, to receive flowers and remember that nature is also essential.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: An essential table to assist the woman at all times of her day. It is designed for moments of care, with spaces to keep makeup. Or for study moments, with two drawers to hold the most important documents. Or simply for the moments when the woman wants to sit and admire herself in the little mirror.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research was done on the Scandinavian style. Looking for lines and materials that convey simplicity, but with a sophisticated touch. I also thought of something that would represent the woman, a woman's mobile, and help her on a day-to-day basis.
CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge was to keep the thin metal structure well positioned. As it was inspired by Scandinavian design, the table needed to contain lines and shape with a strong appeal for style, so we worked well to fix the structure, so that the support can receive the delicate mirror and makeup items.
