| DESIGN NAME: Opulence PRIMARY FUNCTION: Stair Vestibule INSPIRATION: The interior was inspired from the classic era and influenced by the modern time. Our main goal was to create a luxury simple look. Achieving and reflecting an artistic luxury statement was our main goal. Geometric shapes influenced each element in the design process. Using the design language of repetition and rotation and transparency of geometrical shapes created positive energy for the space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Stair vestibule interior designed by eclectic style that combines contrast, anchor, proportion and colors to create a simple, luxury, chic appearance. The stairs have a duty to symbolize an artistic feature of the interior. Stairs featured many important elements : marble patterns, unique furniture pieces, brass handrail, crystals and wall paneau in order to achieve a royal look. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This space is the main distribution between all home zones horizontally and vertically. It acts as the preliminary zone before entering the main integrative area (reception area). PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project design phase started in October 2018 and finished in November 2018. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Getting to know the home owner vision for his visitors and the main function of the space directed our design theme and ideas. We Prepared several sketches inspired from the selected style. Followed by several 3d trials on 3d max program and trying different materials to achieve the desired look. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Designing a space of 12 m X 6 m was very challenging at selecting various materials such as marble, gold brass, niches crystals,different paint colors and window glass. Furniture materials used were velvet fabrics with wood , crystal lighting units and marble. Mingling all these materials to produce an artistic impression. TAGS: Luxury, Elegance, Simplicity, Energetic, Translucent, Artistic, Royal RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Design research about different interior styles, Client style requirements and needs, Design ideas from internet and books, Sketches for furniture layout, Client approval , Sketches for interior walls, 3d modelling on 3d max program, 3d editing to enhance proportions, material selection and trials, final rendering CHALLENGE: Design process was the hardest challenge. Merging and mingling different material and patterns to match with each other and achieve a royal look.
